On behalf of the LSESU Economics Society and LSE Department of Economics, welcome to our 2025 Undergraduate Policy Competition! This year, we will be discussing the economic pressures of ageing populations in developing and developed countries.
Winners will be awarded cash prizes. First prize is £500, second prize is £200, and third prize is £100. We look forward to seeing your entries! Good luck!
Submission
Submit your written essay via this form by 23:59 BST, 5 October 2025.
Finalists will be announced by Sunday 12th October, and will need to submit their slides for their final presentation by 23:59 GMT, 2 November 2025.
Entrants can only submit one essay. Please ensure all contact details are correct as they will be used to disseminate further details regarding the competition.
