Martina Zanella and Amanda Dahlstrand – “Stereotypical Selection” & “Defying Distance”

22.03.2022 @ 18:30 - 19:30

On March 22, 18:30-19:30 GMT, we are delighted to be hosting Martina Zanella and Amanda Dahlstrand, PhD Candidates at the LSE Department of Economics.

Everyone is invited for this in-person event in 32 Lincoln’s Inn Fields L.104, which will be followed with time for informal conversations and snacks.

Martina will argue that those going against stereotypes do not suffer from constituting a minority, but impose negative externalities on those selecting based on stereotypes. As the majority perpetuates stereotypes, and policies to foster inclusion should target the majority. Amanda will quantify the potential gains from digitalisation, especially in the context of digital primary care in Sweden.
