Rossa O’Keeffe-O’Donovan – Global Priorities Research for Economists

On November 25, 19:00-20:00 GMT, in collaboration with the LSESU Effective Altruism Society, we will be hosting Dr Rossa O’Keeffe-O’Donovan from Oxford University’s Global Priorities Institute.
Join us at the LSE Lecture Theatre in CBG for an in-person talk on the field of “global priorities research” and the economics of “longtermism”.
The talk will last 30 minutes, followed by a 30-minute audience Q&A session.
Rossa O’Keeffe-O’Donovan is a Prize Fellow in Economics at Nuffield College and Assistant Director of the Global Priorities Institute at the University of Oxford. Previously, he worked for the World Bank and GiveWell. His main research interests are in empirical microeconomics: development economics, networks and peer effects, public goods, and structural estimation.
